PlanPriceCredits and Agent usageWhat it adds
Starter (Free)$0Daily Agent credits that reset each day, up to a monthly cap, plus monthly credits for production databases, object storage and publishing.Lite build and Design Canvas; 1 published app that goes down after 30 days, with a "Made with Replit" badge. No Full build, Plan Mode, third-party connectors or Replit AI Integrations.
Core$20/mo, or $18/mo billed annually$20 of monthly credits toward more powerful models, publishing, databases and AI integrations. Free Mode: up to 30 hours of chat and up to 60 projects.Full build, Power and Max modes, Plan Mode, connectors, AI integrations, unlimited published apps, badge removal, unlimited workspaces.
ProFrom $100/mo, or $90/mo billed annually$100 of credits, or bigger tiers: $250 ($225/mo, $215 billed annually), $500 ($440 or $425), $1,000 ($850 or $825) and $2,500 ($2,050 or $2,000). Unused credits roll over for two months.Everything in Core, plus 10 parallel agents, up to 15 collaborators, up to 50 viewers, 28-day database rollback, premium support and an opt-out from model improvement.
EnterpriseCustomAnnual credit commitment or pay-as-you-goSSO, SCIM and audit logs, advanced privacy controls, centralized security management, single-tenant and private networking options. Replit says it doesn't use Enterprise customer content to train its models.

Prices in USD and subject to tax depending on your location; yearly billing is up to 10% off. Starter isn't shown on replit.com/pricing; its details come from Replit's Starter plan docs, and Replit doesn't publish the size of Starter's daily credits or monthly cap. Extra credit packs on Core and Pro cost $100, $290, $480 or $950 for $100 to $1,000 of credits and expire six months after purchase.

Why builders look for Replit alternatives

Replit bills Agent work by effort: Power and Max modes draw down your monthly credits task by task, and the same $20 on Core (or $100 on Pro) also pays for publishing, databases and AI integrations. Publishing has its own meter: an Autoscale deployment is a $2 monthly base fee plus $0.60 per million compute units and $0.40 per million requests, and a Reserved VM starts at $15 a month (static sites are $0.05 per GB of data transfer). The free Starter plan is limited to Lite build and 1 published app that goes down after 30 days with a "Made with Replit" badge. And Replit uses your prompts and generated content to improve its models; the opt-out is only on Pro (from $100/mo), and only Enterprise content is excluded outright. People switch when they want a flat monthly price with hosting included, a bigger free allowance, a no-code builder or a local code editor.

The alternatives, ranked

  1. 01

    Lovable

Closest like-for-like swap with a built-in back end: Lovable turns a prompt into a web app with Lovable Cloud (database, auth, storage), and its import dialog has guided export steps for Replit (in your Replit project, open the right sidebar, select the Files tab, click the three dots and choose Download as ZIP). Lovable then migrates the code and moves your database and users to Lovable Cloud. Import is on every plan, uses credits, and is still rolling out gradually. Free is $0 with 5 daily build credits (up to 30 a month). Pro is $25/mo ($21/mo billed yearly) for 100 credits and Business $50/mo ($42/mo yearly). Lovable prices by credits, not seats, with unlimited users on every paid plan. Git sync to GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket works on every plan, Free included.

💳 Free (5 daily credits, up to 30/mo); Pro from $25/mo ($21/mo yearly); Business from $50/mo (approx.)
  2. 02

    Bolt.new

Best for the biggest free allowance: Bolt.new builds apps from a prompt with hosting and unlimited Bolt databases included, and it can import an existing GitHub repository, so a Replit project you've pushed to GitHub can continue in Bolt. Free is $0 with 300K tokens a day, up to 1M a month, public and private projects, and Bolt branding on sites. Pro is $25/mo, or $18/mo billed yearly ($216 a year), with 10M tokens a month that roll over and your own domain. Teams is $30 per member/mo, or $27 billed yearly. Bolt meters tokens rather than effort, and most token use comes from syncing your project's files, so bigger projects cost more per message.

    💳 Free (300K tokens/day, 1M/mo); Pro from $25/mo ($18/mo yearly); Teams $30/member/mo ($27 yearly) (approx.)
  3. 03

    v0

Best for Next.js and React front ends on Vercel: v0 builds with Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui and deploys to Vercel. It can import an existing GitHub repository or a ZIP (the + icon in the prompt bar), so a Replit project's code can come along. Free is $0 with 7 messages a day, and new users get $5 of one-time credits. Plus is $30/user/mo with $30 of monthly credits per user and Business is $100/user/mo with training opt-out by default. Hosting is a separate Vercel bill, and Vercel's free Hobby plan is for non-commercial, personal use only.

    💳 Free (7 messages/day; $5 one-time credits for new users); Plus $30/user/mo; Business $100/user/mo (approx.)
  4. 04

    Base44

Best all-in-one for non-developers: Base44 builds the front end, back end, database and user sign-in from plain-language prompts and hosts the app. Free is $0 with 25 message credits a month (no more than 5 a day) and 100 integration credits for up to 5 apps. Paid plans billed annually (monthly in brackets): Starter $16/mo ($20) with 100 message credits, in-app code edits and your own domain; Builder $40/mo ($50) with 250 credits and two-way GitHub sync; Pro $80/mo ($100); Elite from $160/mo ($200). Base44's app builder starts new apps from prompts rather than importing a Replit project; its separate Base Code tool can make AI changes on an existing web codebase in GitHub through branches and pull requests.

💳 Free (25 message credits/mo, up to 5/day, up to 5 apps); Starter $16/mo billed annually ($20 monthly); Builder $40/mo; Pro $80/mo; Elite from $160/mo (approx.)
  5. 05

    Cursor

Best when you want a real editor on your own machine: Replit's Git pane syncs your project to GitHub in one click, so you can clone the repository and keep going in Cursor's AI editor, with your own hosting. Cursor Free is $0 with limited agent and chat requests. Plus is $8/mo but only includes Grok models. Premium ($30/mo) adds third-party models such as Claude and GPT, billed separately at API list price. Super is $100/mo and Ultra $200/mo.

💳 Free tier; paid plans from $8/mo (Plus) up to $200/mo (Ultra); Teams from $30/user/mo (approx.)
  6. 06

    Claude Code

Best when you want an agent to do the work outside Replit: Claude Code reads your codebase, edits files and runs commands in the terminal, IDE extensions, a desktop app and the browser. Point it at the GitHub repo you synced from Replit and give it the bigger, multi-file changes. It isn't on Claude's Free plan. Pro is $20/mo ($17/mo billed annually, $200 up front) and Max starts at $100/mo. Claude Code shares one usage pool with your Claude chats, or you can pay per token with a Console (API) account.

💳 Included with Claude Pro ($20/mo US), Max (from $100/mo) and every Team seat (from $20/seat/mo billed annually), or pay via API usage (approx.)

How to choose

Want the same prompt-to-app flow with a back end built in and a flat price? Lovable (Pro $25/mo), which imports a Replit ZIP directly. Want the most free usage? Bolt.new Free (300K tokens a day, up to 1M a month). Building a Next.js front end you'll host on Vercel? v0 (Plus $30/user/mo). Not technical and want hosting, database and sign-in in one plan? Base44 (Starter $16/mo billed annually). Outgrowing the browser workspace? Sync the project to GitHub and continue in Cursor or with Claude Code. Staying on Replit because you need native iOS and Android apps? Its Launch feature builds, signs and uploads your iOS app to App Store Connect, which none of the web builders here do.

Taking your Replit project with you

Every Replit project is backed by a Git repository. Open Tools, then Git (initialize the repository if Replit asks), and use the Git pane's GitHub sync to push the code to GitHub, where Bolt.new, v0, Cursor and Claude Code can all pick it up. For Lovable, download a ZIP instead: open the right sidebar, select the Files tab, click the three dots and choose Download as ZIP. For your data, Lovable's guide says to open Database, select My Data and download each table as CSV, export key-value data from ReplDB as JSON, and export files in Object Storage separately. Environment variables and secrets don't travel in the code, so have your API keys ready. The move works the other way too: Replit imports from GitHub, the GitHub repo behind a Vercel project, repositories exported from Bolt, Lovable or Base44, and ZIP files up to 200 MB.

Also considered

Google AI Studio's Build mode creates a full-stack web app (React front end with a Node.js server) or a native Android app (Kotlin and Jetpack Compose) from a prompt, can import existing code from GitHub, set up Firestore and Firebase Authentication for you, and deploy to Cloud Run. Google notes that if you use paid models, costs may apply. It's the most interesting option if your app leans on Gemini features.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best alternative to Replit?

Lovable is the closest like-for-like for web apps: the same prompt-to-app flow with a built-in back end, it imports a Replit project from a ZIP, and Pro is a flat $25/mo with unlimited users. Pick Bolt.new for the biggest free allowance, v0 for Next.js front ends on Vercel, Base44 if you want everything without touching code, and Cursor or Claude Code once you want to work on the code yourself.

Is there a free alternative to Replit?

Yes. Bolt.new Free (300K tokens a day, up to 1M a month), Lovable Free (5 daily build credits, up to 30 a month), v0 Free (7 messages a day plus $5 of one-time credits for new users) and Base44 Free (25 message credits a month, up to 5 apps) all cost $0. Replit's own Starter plan is free too, with daily Agent credits, Lite build and 1 published app for 30 days.

Is Replit cheaper than Lovable or Bolt?

At the entry level, yes on paper: Replit Core is $20/mo ($18 billed annually), against $25/mo for Lovable Pro and Bolt Pro ($21 and $18/mo billed yearly). But Replit's $20 of credits also covers publishing, databases and AI integrations, and Agent work is billed by effort, so heavy months can need credit packs ($100 and up). Lovable and Bolt include hosting in the plan price.

How do I move my Replit project to Lovable, Bolt or Cursor?

For Lovable, download the project as a ZIP (Files tab, three dots, Download as ZIP) and use Lovable's Import project dialog, which has a Replit option (rolling out gradually, and it uses credits). For Bolt.new, v0, Cursor or Claude Code, push the project to GitHub from Replit's Git pane and import or clone the repository. Export database tables as CSV from Database, My Data.

Which Replit alternative is best for mobile apps?

For native apps, Replit itself is hard to beat: it builds iOS and Android apps you can test with Expo Go and uploads iOS builds to App Store Connect. Among the alternatives, Google AI Studio's Build mode can generate a native Android app in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. Lovable, v0 and Base44 build web apps.

Does Replit train on my code?

Replit says it uses the content you provide, including prompts and generated responses, to improve its models. You can opt out under Settings, Personalization, but the control is listed for Pro users only, and Replit says it doesn't use Enterprise customer content for training.
