Prices in USD, excluding tax. Plans are priced by credits, not seats: everyone in a workspace shares its credits. Yearly billing gives two months free. Daily build credits and the daily chat allowance reset at 00:00 UTC and don't roll over. Unused monthly plan credits roll over while you stay subscribed, but expire 2 months after they're issued on monthly plans (1 month after the year ends on annual plans). Top-up credits last 12 months. Credits aren't refundable.

What Lovable Free includes, and its limits

Free gives you 5 build credits a day, which reset at 00:00 UTC, but only up to 30 a month. Lovable's own example: on Free you get daily build credits for the first 6 days of the month (6 × 5 = 30), then none until the 1st. Build mode messages are priced on the work done; Lovable's examples are 0.50 credits for "Make the button gray", 0.90 to remove a footer, 1.20 to add authentication with sign-up and login, and about 1.70 to 2.00 for a landing page with generated images. Plan mode costs 1 credit per message. On top of that, Free gets monthly grants of 20 Cloud credits (hosting and the built-in backend), 4 AI credits (AI features inside your app) and 1 connector credit, which refresh on the 1st. When you run out, building pauses until the next refresh; top-ups are only for paid plans. Free also can't edit or download code inside Lovable, connect a custom domain or remove the "Edit with Lovable" badge, but Git sync works, so your code can still live in your own GitHub repo.

Are free Lovable projects public?

No. Lovable removed public project visibility on April 22, 2026, and every project is now private to its workspace by default on every plan, Free included. (Before November 2025, free projects were public by default.) A published app is a different setting: anyone with the URL can visit it unless you limit it. Since October 8, 2026, Free and Pro can publish to invited people only, up to 10 per project; Business adds publishing to logged-in workspace members. Lovable may unpublish a Free workspace's app if it has had no visits for 12 months, the owner hasn't logged in for 12 months and there's no custom domain; the project and data aren't deleted.

What's new: Chats and the daily chat allowance

Since September 21, 2026, Lovable has Chats (outside a project) and a Chat mode (inside one) for asking, planning and thinking without changing code. Chat messages are priced per message, typically a fraction of a credit, and a daily chat allowance covers them first on Free, Pro and Business, with a larger allowance on paid plans. Lovable doesn't publish the allowance size, and it says this chat pricing is temporary and applies through October 31, 2026. After the allowance, chats draw on your daily build credits, then your general credits. Work a chat sends to a project is billed as normal build usage.

Is your data used for AI training?

Possibly, unless you opt out. Since September 9, 2026, Lovable's privacy policy lets it use content from Free and Pro accounts (prompts, attached files, code, project files and outputs) to train its AI models. You can switch this off at any time in Account settings under AI model training, at no cost. Your app's end-user data isn't used, and Business and Enterprise workspaces are excluded from training by default.

Pro pricing, annual billing and the student discount

Pro and Business come in credit tiers from 100 to 10,000 credits a month. Pro is $25 for 100 credits, $50 for 200, $100 for 400 and $200 for 800, up to $2,250 for 10,000; Business doubles the per-credit price, from $50 for 100 credits to $4,300 for 10,000. Paying yearly gives two months free, so 100-credit Pro is $250 a year ($21/mo) and Business $500 a year ($42/mo); credits are still issued monthly. Verified students and teachers get 50% off the 100-credit Pro plan billed monthly ($12.50 instead of $25) for up to 12 months. Lovable checks your school email domain on lovable.dev/students, verification only works from a Free workspace, and each person can use the discount once; annual billing and higher tiers don't qualify. If you cancel a paid plan, your credits keep working until the end of the billing period, then the workspace drops to Free.
