How the pricing works

Both sell an allowance of AI work, not unlimited use. Replit Core is $20 a month ($18 billed annually) and includes Free Mode, which covers everyday Agent work at no extra cost until you reach its allowance (the pricing page says up to 30 hours of chat), plus $20 a month toward Power and Max modes. Those monthly credits also pay for publishing, databases and storage. Replit Pro is $100 a month ($90 billed annually) with $100 of credits, larger credit tiers, and up to 15 builders. Lovable Pro starts at $25 a month for 100 credits, and the tiers go up to 10,000 credits for $2,250 a month. Business starts at $50 a month for the same 100 credits and adds SSO, role-based access and internal publishing. On Lovable, top-ups cost $15 per 50 credits on Pro and $30 per 50 on Business, and paid plans still get 5 free build credits a day.

Which free plan goes further?

For keeping something live, Lovable Free. It gives you 5 build credits a day until you hit 30 for the month, 20 Cloud credits a month for hosting and the backend, up to 5 lovable.app sites, and Git sync to GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket. You can't edit or download code inside Lovable on Free, but the synced repo is yours. Replit Starter is better for trying Agent: Free Mode has a daily cap and Replit doesn't publish the exact numbers, you only get Lite build (no Full build, Plan Mode or connectors), and your one published app goes down after 30 days unless you publish it again.

Pick Replit Agent if…

You need a native iOS or Android app with App Store upload, you want more than a website (scheduled jobs, Reserved VMs, slide decks or data visualizations), or you want a $20 plan whose Free Mode covers everyday Agent work and whose credits also pay for hosting and the database.
